Purpose
To provide an introduction to Islamic teaching and culture taught primarily by converted Muslims and those working actively in the field of Muslim Outreach so as to provide both teaching and practical experience in Muslim outreach and church planting strategies.
Who should attend?
Anyone interested in Muslim outreach and understanding Islamic teaching and culture. College and seminary students may be able to arrange credit through their home school in connection to Shiloh Bible College Ethiopia.
Why attend?
Muslims make up 1.5 million of the worlds population today and constitute one of the largest populations of unreached people in the world today. Past outreach strategies have not been effective in reaching Muslims but today through a greater sensitivity to contextualization issues and new strategies such as “insider movements” as well as the dynamic intervention of the Holy Spirit through visions, dreams and miracles, Muslims are coming to Christ not by one or two or even by tens by in some cases by hundreds and soon thousands.
